Title: Exhaust Manifold
Post by Mummra on Jun 18th, 2006, 4:49pm
Just been out to check the water level on my 2.3 auto estate, as my coolant light has been coming on lately, and thought I would have a look for the blowing noise I can here coming from my exhaust. Only to discover I have a bloody great crack in the exhaust manifold.

Anybody changed one of these before? Is it easy? Is there a guide, I have looked on the main site but could not find one. I am guessing there is a gasket which should be replaced also, are these easy enough to get hold of?

Cheers
Dave

Easy enough to do when you find all the bolts and as long as they all undo ok, Gaskets are only a couple of pounds from Ford the last time I bought some, Two steel gaskets.
I also have a manifold if you can't get hold of one ;)
