Title: Re: Is the 8v Engine any good? Post by andyjones on Jun 28th, 2006, 9:56pm a bit underpowered for such a big car. i'd stick out for a 16v 2.0 or 2.3. |

Post by howiedintheplace on Jun 28th, 2006, 11:43pm Hmmm well I reckon the 8v is way under powered, 16V is still struggling & the 2.3 is just about right 8) If you live life just a bit faster then there is the cossie & if that bores you bolt a couple of turbo's to it ;D |

Title: Re: Is the 8v Engine any good? Post by Baw_Flinger on Jun 29th, 2006, 8:23am I would back that up. My 2.3 blew its HG and my mechanic has another 2 that have gone in the last few weeks as well. The 2.3 is a lovely engine but is prone to failure and does drink a bit as well. |
