1996, 2.9 12v, auto saloon

It seems I need to replace both front anti-roll bar bushes ( one has split the other has perished ).
Can anyone tell me the FINIS numbers and approx. costs ?
Also what work is involved, is the 80nm torque on the bolts critical ?

Can't help you with the FINIS numbers, but I've just done mine, and they were £9.00 for the two and the brackets. Got them from a local motor factors here.

Work took about 20 minutes. Basically just drop the underpanel, under your engine and you can access them easily.
They are 'open' type bushes, so you can just open them over the bar, slip them on, and tighten them up.
Dead easy job. :)

I asked at a motor factors but they couldn't help, you are in the same part of the world as me, who do you use ?

I have a trade buddy in Newton Abbot who can get stuff at trade prices. He tells me he got them from Swansons who are the Ford dealership in N/A. He got a discount, so not sure what the retail is, but wouldn't have thought much.

Out of interest though, he tells me that the ones for Daihatsus are virtually identical.

You could also try A1 Motorspares in Exeter who are extremely helpful. They may be able to source some for you, and they DON'T rip you off, which is why I'll recommend them.
Got some front discs for my 2.9 from them recently. £27.00 the pair. Quinton Hazell, so a good buy.

Thanks for the info., I may try the NA Ford dealers, I am near Kingsbridge and the parts dept. at Quay are useless.
