New wiring loom, connectors, upgrade fuseboxes, fit a sunlight sensor and a hbc (probably need new fan housing as well) you might as well change the heater matrix and all the dash bulbs while you have the car stripped to the fron bulkhead.  Did I mention taking the engine out?

In four years on here not aware of anybody who has succeded (or even tryed to do this one). Like many I suspect I will watch this with interest.

Good luck!  ;)

Just read your other post on How Many and see that you already have the engine out so that may make things more simple, you may also be able to rob looms from the donor cars.

Maybe not as difficult then.  ;D

Sounds like it may be better to use the ghia x as the doner for one of the other 2 !!

the ghia x is a 24v and was made in the last month of scorpio production and its got a nearly mint body in aubergine [3 small spots of rust]seeing ive got a 24 v car that i will be breaking i thought it might be fairly easy to change it over.

As I said not aware of anybody that has seriously tried it, strikes me you need to spend some time comparing the differences and seeing if you really do have the makings.  It would certainly be a first and if you documented it with piccies I am sure that it would make a great piece on the main site. It may be as simple as swapping out the units from one to the other but you really need to think it through.
