Title: Re: Darkening the lights. Post by TiberiuS on Sep 3rd, 2006, 8:21pm Well, I'm not sure about spraying the headlamps but I managed to strip down the fogs to respray the reflectors, not easy but it can be done :). Regards, TiberiuS. |

Title: Re: Darkening the lights. Post by TiberiuS on Oct 7th, 2006, 3:51pm If I remember right, there's 3 clips around the edge of the unit, you need a long bladed screwdriver to get at them, the lens/rubber trim comes off together with the front part of the bezel. The bezel is bonded to the lens with...how can I say this...STRONG adhesive, carefully prise the two apart and slit the adhesive with a scalpel as you go along. Did my front fogs like this, not easy but it does look nice when done. Bruce. |

Title: Re: Darkening the lights. Post by Baz on Oct 8th, 2006, 8:07pm Once you can get between the glass and the plastic, I put a piece of nylon string in and used a sawing action to break the seal very easily. Black silicone or clear can be used but try to keep them off the car until it drys! Baz |
