The plastic fuel pipes on my 2.3, that come up from the chassis, both do a full loop before they join the rubber pipes to & from the fuel rail.
Does anyone know if there is a reason for this?......something to do with pressure maybe?

seems common, my two twincam sierras had a loop.

Possibly just for flexing.
