Title: 24v cosworth 4x4 conversion
Post by 2ndgear on Sep 21st, 2006, 11:46am
Just about to convert my sierra 4x4 to 24v has anyone else done this? & if so how did they get on with the cylinder head drains to the sump - there is none on the 4x4 sump.
Cheers

Hi, try http://interford.co.uk/  and go to the forum section, there's plenty of sierra 24v conversion stuff on there. I found it looking for stuff to help me get going converting my cossie to a manual.

A pair of ISCV pipes and elbows from a 2.0 DOHC will help with the drains.

You must use  the 4x4 oil piickup.

You will need to cutback the windage tray on the 24V to clear the sump.

You will need a spigot bearing for the gearbox imput shaft.

Custom downpipes.
