I'm trying to sell my rear bumper and need a courier that can deliver a large parcel for a reasonable price. Wrapped it's about 180x100x50 cm and they seem to charge the earth for large boxes !! any ideas anyone. It's going from Portsmouth to wales

Have you tried CityLink? Some depots can get funny over private custom but I've used them a few times and they've been solid, I had my A3's shipped through them, 200lB of floorstanding loudspeaker for about £45. Also there was a couple of couriers I found on the net specialising in large/heavy cargo, may be worth a search.

I used Businesspost when I sent a rear bumper from Cardiff to Norwich, Cost just over £30

I have used interparcel as in bizzay 1's post cost me £15.00 to send a pair of cats to cumbria from durham but the good thing about their site is you enter the dimensions and weight of the package and get quotes for the various services they offer, there and then.

Yep, Interparcel.com as Bizzay says, they get big discounts from most large
couriers and show the best price/services available.
