Title: Wishbones where?
Post by twinturbo on Sep 26th, 2006, 9:10pm
Are front wishbones available anywhere other than Ford?

My stearing is creaking at low speed and I have woobble when breaking. Which together seem to point to worn Radius bushes ( are they available elsewhere? ) but may end up requiring the full arm..

TT

Dont think so? rear bushes can be bought on their own though!

Ford only parts i'm afraid, I think Fordpartsuk is your best bet

Ball joints are incorporated into the wishbone but the bushes can be replaced individually as aready stated :)

The rear bushes can be replaced  without  needing to remove the entire wishbone and    may  be the cause of  the  brake  wobble  but  the steering creaking  is  more  tricky .

The  top  strut  bearing  maybe ?
