Title: 24V Exhaust.
Post by twinturbo on Oct 10th, 2006, 2:49pm
My 24V exhaust system is looking a little ( AHHHEM! ) worse for wear...

Are pattern ones available as I can't find them listed..

How much does Ford charge for the main syste?

I know hand crafted Stainless ones are roughly £350 but can't realy justify that much...

Cheers

TT

Hi, TT
Sorry but I reckon the hand crafted version will be the way to go cos I cant see FMD mild steel one being any cheaper M8. Probably pick up a few horses with a fre flowing one too mmmm  ;D ;D  Regards Dave

Hi TT,
I dont know if your cats are okay but when I priced them from ford they were over a grand :o
I ended up with pattern parts but it was suggested by a few places I spoke to that I should have a stainless one made up with one central cat off a newer car.
If ever the cat fails it would then be cheaper to replace.
Just a bit of food for thought mate ;)

I have 2 pairs of spare cats ;)

I make sure I have cheap spares...

My Volvo 850T5 had one Cat with a volvo list of £800!!!

I guess it's time to start saving my pennies...
