Could some of you 2.3 guys have a look at your VIN plates for me if you have a chance?

The Ford Spec sheet shows the 2.3 as having a 4.27 ratio diff although as far as I can tell they all have a 3.91

The number in question is in the fourth box down on the left

Hi Highlander, just had a look at my vin plate 96 ghia estate,and it is a 3.91 diff ???

To remove any doubt needs build date & if it's a auto or manual too guys.

Looking like a 3.91 for sure at the moment thow ;)

Slightly odd?....my 98 2.3 facelift says 4.27

Mine has a build date of 18/08/1997 & it's an automatic estate
