Hi chaps :D
Don't know if this is of any use to you, but I had found for sometime it increasingly harder to deadlock the car with the remote, having to have several attempts at it even after changing the remotes batteries. Anyhow, noticing that the boot was split on the bonnet alarm switch I decided to replace it.........what a difference.......it nows deadlocks on the first attempt and it may be me but I think it shows the flash sooner as well. :-X
I do know that if the switch is disconnected deadlocking and flashing are not available >:(
