96 cosworth saloon

I haved changed the passenger front seat for a non ford seat, no heaters or belt tensioner. The air bag light is flashing continuously, I dont believe there is and air bag on passenger side! should I worry about it or bridge the tensioner, or what, all help greatfully received.

I'm pretty sure it's the lack of tensioner that makes the air bag light flash.

just upgraded my seats, was running around for a few days with no seats fitted,[except drivers seat lol.] my dash light came on as well. there is a multi plug under the passenger seat coloured yellow with 2 wires coming out of it. as soon as this was plugged into the new seats the light went out.obviously if you have a non ford seat i assume you have nothing to connect it to.

Thanks for you replies.I have connected up the seat tensioner, light gone out. I will fit it to the other seat later.
