Hi ???

I have been unable to release the offside rear passenger seatback since owing my scorp. Problem wasnt spotted until recently when I needed the car for work.
It seems the release button has been forced down inside the seatback.
Just wondering if anyone knows how it could be freed up? :-/

Does This (http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/manual/interior/seat/rseatcatch.pdf) give you any clues? I've just looked at mine and it is probably because the locking catch is up. Take the load cover out and you'll see an orange 'knob' at the top of the seat. This locks the mechanism and if the release button is pushed down it will stay there. Try the orange knob and hopefully that will do the trick.

Simmo is right, the first time I dropped my seats I thought they were jammed, until after a good 30 seconds of fighting it I noticed the orange knob!
