Title: Vacuum pipe pressure
Post by DJWerkz on Nov 20th, 2006, 9:44am
Hi Gang,

I am just looking at various different types of hose to replace all my old vaccum pipes and just wondered if there is any pressure requirement?

Just seeing if anyone has a psi rating for such hose?

It is a vacuum, the only pressure will be the atmosphere trying to close the pipe (max. 1 bar), though it will be much less than this - so almost any oil/fuel resistant pipe should be suitable.
