i`m looking for new pads on ebay, and they have 2 part numbers for mintex rear pads for my ultima, and idea`s?

It's true that certain models have vented rear discs so maybe the pads are slightly different for those models.

BTW Halfords serial No. for rear pads for normal discs is HBP 325

In fact I've got a slightly used Halfords ( on the car 2 days at most ) set you can have for £17 including P+P.

If its any help, I've just bough a set of rear pads and discs from http://www.carparts-direct.co.uk/index.cfm and their prices are good. They also list clearly what cars the parts are for.

My Scorpio Ultima estate has vented discs on the rear, dan the pads are smaller than the front pads. Not a technical answer, but I hope it helps.

i believe only the v6 models have the rear vented disc's as they are larger on size
