hi all. can anyone tell me what oil goes in my auto box on my 2L scorp M reg saloon??
looked in my ford book, owners hand book, and all it says is my ford dealer checks this at every service.
i need to top mine up but dont know what oil to put in, and how do you put it in?? through the dipstick hole??

Dexron 3 or 4 ATF fluid will be good enough in fact any ATF fluid that meets the Ford Spec will be OK ..... which can be seen on this page Auto fluid Spec (http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/manual/autotrans/A4LDESpecs.pdf)
And YES it goes in through the dip stick hole ! just takes a little time

hi there

drexon III is the fluid (same as the power steering fluid) and put it in the BLACK dipstick hole.
