For anyone interested in doing it here's what you need to do to make it all legal  ;D

Have a look here Customs and Excise (http://customs.hmrc.gov.uk/channelsPortalWebApp/channelsPortalWebApp.portal?_nfpb=true&_pageLabel=pageVAT_ShowContent&id=HMCE_PROD1_024771&propertyType=document#P13_1533)
and give them a ring on this number 0845 010 9000

You will be sent out form EX 103 to register as a biofuel user.
All you need to do after that is send in a monthly form declaring your usage and your payment of duty :)

And cheap  ;D

I'm running on used/filtered vegetable oil which i get for free so my fuel cost 27p a litre (fuel tax)
lower pollution, less smoke and a nicer smell from the exhaust too :)
