Title: door ajar switch Post by daz_38 on Jan 25th, 2007, 4:21pm hi is anyone familiar with the passenger door ajar switch as far as i can see its located on the left hand side of the door as your looking at it from inside the only problem is how do i remove and replace it ? i need to do this as its effecting my alarm system as warning light stays on when door is shut . any ideas thanx |

Title: Re: door ajar switch Post by TiberiuS on Jan 25th, 2007, 6:18pm I believe there's two, the one on the post which controls the interior lights and the one in the lock which makes the alarm go off at 2am... Tali is right, WD40 cured my rogue alarm on two occasions... Mike or someone should know more ;) Regards, Bruce. |

Title: Re: door ajar switch Post by TiberiuS on Feb 1st, 2007, 5:07pm Daz, have you tried the switch in the door post too? undo the screw and it pulls out, you can clean the plunger from there... Other switch is in the door lock, not easy I fear :-/ Regards, Bruce. |
