Tony, The only reference I know of on the site is HERE (http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/diy.htm). No mileage figure is given but it would seem to coincide with a 'big' service. They can affect the efficiency of the air con but I guess in most cases its a case of checking it to see what state it is in and taking it from there unless you are having particular problems with the efficiency of the air con.  :)

hi there

i mind reading somewhere it should be every 6 months or so. i do mine yearly, though. remember to put a treatment though the system at the same time.

hth

btw, the wifes (really mine now :(), honda civic really could do with being changed every 6 month by the state they get into. a quick hover and i get another 6 months out of them. ;D

I usually change mine beginning of summer then at the end when they're all full of pollen and dust, they don't cost much and if you're a hayfever sufferer the less pollen getting into the car the better! :)
