Title: Re: SPORTS MODE E * ETC Post by Highlander on Feb 12th, 2007, 11:34pm your "snow flake symbol" as far as i'm aware disables 1st gear to reduce the risk of wheelspin. E is economy (default) S is sport which lets the engine rev to 6000rpm before the gearchange keeping you in the powerband longer for quicker acceleration ;D |

Title: Re: SPORTS MODE E * ETC Post by TiberiuS on Feb 13th, 2007, 6:02pm Sport mode makes the box hang onto the gears for longer than economy mode, kickdown to the redline is available in economy too though ;) It's also a good way of draining the tank of petrol and making you poor, that's the reason it's put there ;) |
