hi there

when you say it's locked, is it back on the car?

someone sent me a photo of one with a cut out/sticky out bit. hard to explain, see photo (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v521/scorpio_man/scorpio%20bits/M41000041.jpg).

maybe yours is at the same bit?

Do you mean the  belt roller  does not spin when spun,   or  the  tensioner  spring  has  siezed  and does not move up  or down  ?

hi there

don't think you can move it, off the car. it takes a fair bit of pressure on it to move it, so you can change the belt.

give it a bit of oil and refit it. see if it works then.
