Does anyone have any suggestions for the best way to stick Ford badges back on with?

Tried double sided tape and spray glue with no luck.

Hi mate......Have you tried double sided foam pads....usually about 1mm thick

Hi,get some double sided tape from your motor store,use some pre-clean to the area and make sure it is thoroughly dry,use a hair dryer to warm up both surfaces and stick on the badge.This is the method used in our local bodyshop.Roy ;)

Another way is to rough up the back of the badge slightly with a dremel tool or a small wire brush, to form a good 'key' and then apply the double sided sticky pad.

Ensure that the area you are going to apply the badge to to is 100% dry. it's worth getting the special pad, but if you can't then get a mirror pad or two from your nearest motor shop, and trim them to size.

I've got a Scorpio badge on the back of my Ultima, put on like this, and it's been there for over a year now and is as solid as if it was part of the car.

instead of "sticky pads" you could always use the more powerfull adhesive pads that you can buy in most motor facors etc. that are used to hold the interior mirror in place.... ;)

Use the stuff on a roll you can get from Halfords, the black double-sided stuff bodyshops use ;)

Or buy the local Wrigleys depot and spend an hour chewing ::)

Silicone sealent worked for me after I colour coded the ones on a Fiesta I had once.

Held true through the most vigerous of car washes

I used to use silicone sealant back in the 80s, but the stuff doesn't seem the same these days and i didn't fancy risking it.
I ended up going to Halfors and getting some 1mm adhesive pads designed for holing on number plates.
