Title: Re: key fob Post by Dave on Mar 3rd, 2007, 3:08pm Ash, have a look at this for repairing the fob to make it work properly: http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/remote_repair.htm and this for reprogramming it to your car: http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/remote.htm Do this with your car unlocked and with the drivers window open, just as a precautionary measure so you definitely won't get locked out 8) |

Title: Re: key fob Post by Mummra on Mar 3rd, 2007, 3:11pm Hi I'm sure the batteries have to be out of the handset for about 10 minutes or more till it loses the code, I've never had a problem when changing batteries. But if you are worried about it then unlock the car first, change the batteries and if the code is lost then reprogramming is easily achieved. |

Title: Re: key fob Post by Simmo on Mar 3rd, 2007, 4:38pm The other thing is to get the locks sorted. A re-build kit is cheap and the job is well documented on this site if you want to go that route.Go to This page (http://search.atomz.com/search/?sp-q=Door+lock&sp-a=sp100172f5) and read the first two items. |
