I have signed up with MSN's Myspace live and trying without success to ad a picture from the site to my profile.

I have managed to get the URL as a link but cant get a picture to display.

HELP!

in your profile type this in the sig box

[I M G] URL of your pic [/I M G]

dont put the spaces between I M G type it as IMG

Tried that but its longer than the 50 characters allowed

You're doing it right then Ian, you just need to reduce the filename to under the 50
the 50 limit came on a few months ago, i had to rehost my pic on a different site as my host site name was too long

try www.tinypic.com

Hi Scorpius,if you sign up with Photobucket,it is free.Just upload your photo and you can resize it to the size required for this site.Then just copy the link which it gives you and just paste it in the box.It will show three links,you need the one that starts with img.Hope this helps you.Roy :)

Thanks guys.
I think that the way Myspace stores pictures causes many of th problems. TinyURL didn't work but Tinypic.com was just the ticket. (As you can see)

You will need to resize your pictures as well to 640x480 yours are currently 1024x768.Roy.

hi there

can you resize your signature photo to something like 200x150. the 640x480 limit is for one of photos.

I removed the signature picture as soon as i saw what it was doing. I cant see it now, hope you cant either?
Now i know how it works i can design something more suitable.
