:-/ i cannot change my 1995 scorpio trip computer display change from kmh to mph on the display? ive tried pressing the s button for a few seconds but it will not change?.. any ideas.

it's a common fault, remove the switch, open it up (4 clips) and give the contacts a good clean, reassemble and job should be a gooden

Details of removing and dismantling can be found HERE (http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/tripswitch.htm). Also worth checking the underside of the circuit board as there can can be dry joints on the soldering of the switches.

To clean the switches best thing is a bit of contact cleaner and a toothbrush.
