Apparently so.
Best to check the PCD of the wheel nuts and tyre sizes to make sure that thay are OK too.

pcb will be ok, it's the offset you need to check, tyre wise i personally wouldnt use anything smaller then a 205 profile, best to use a 215 or a 225 if they will fit.

i think its the newer rather than older models, i know that siera wheels fit, but dont try escort as they dont

i have ford focus 15inch alloys on my 20i which was on the car when i purchased it.

Focus uses extreme (ET60 and greater) offset, so should be avoided as much as possible. Mondeo rims are fine up to the 2000 model, which changed to a 5 stud PCD so they wont fit naturally :)

all wheels from the mondeo range should fit up till the new shape when ford in there infinite wisdom decided to fit a 5 stud pattern instead of 4. stopped the wife nicking my 12 spokes for her mondano though ;D
