this power bleeder (http://www.bmw-m.net/TechProc/bleeder.htm) I know its on a BMW site, but there must be some sensible BMW owners out there ;D.

I can't find one for less than £70 that doesn't need an airline.

Anyone have an opinion?

Get one of them " one man brake bleed kits ".

Just a bit of tube with a one-way valve on the end of it.

Best £4 I've ever spent, works every time.

No more soggy brake pedals !

Think I paid £3.00 from my local motor factors.
Mine actualy has a one way valve in the end of the pipe.
I have seen them where they are just a piece of rubber hose with a bung in the end and a slit just above it.
The ones with the valves are far better.
Used them on loads of cars and bikes and never had a problem yet ;)
Forgot to mention if you realy want to make a pressure bleeding system just get onother resevoir cap and a tyre valve, drill a hole so the valve is a very snug fit and use a bycicle pump. a few of my bike mates still do this and swear by it.

I have one of the one man jobs, but find you need two people ;-)

I need to change the calipers on my car and may not be able to do the front and rear in one go. Also want to change the fluid in two cars - so thought it would be easier as I will be on my self!?

personally i think bmw should spend their time recalling all models in their range to have working indicators fitted rather than develop brake bleed kits that only have any real use in race teams............. ::)

[] [] [] [] [] And BMW should also ban the 18 year olds that keep putting the straight through exausts and boy racer bits on them, my area is full of them.. My neibours one looks like a snow plough with the bumper he has on his, he didnt like that when i told him ha ha 8)
