Title: Help with Removal of Air Vents
Post by RON on Mar 20th, 2007, 3:56pm
Hi ya all,
Can anyone help me with the instructions to removing the Air vents on my dashboard, i've got a draught coming through them when their closed, i've seen one post regarding this, but i'd like some help with the removal of it. Anyone can post some advice i'd be well pleased.
Many thanks in advance
Ron

Thanks Scorpio-Man, but its the blower vents that i want to remove, whats happening is when i turn the blower on, but have the vents shut, the cold/hot is still coming through, so i was hopin i could take out the plastic vents without removing all the fascia, i read on here, that the foam rots, and basically needs replacing, then the draughts will stop, but i just need help in removing them. Many thanks though matey

hi there

i think you need to take trim off. i would anyway. it would give you more room to see/move.

The vents are attached with screws to the back of the facsia so you will need to remove it to access them.
