how many lambda sensors should be in the exhaust system on a 2.0 16v scorpio, i know there is one near the manifold.

reason i ask the cat has been decated on my car and wonderd is there was a sensor there.

There should be two, one on each side of the cat.

will this affect the running of the car if there is no cat?
