With the ignition switched on, a ticking niose, exactly like a clock, can be heard at the front N/S of the engine bay....seems to be coming from underneath the MAF ???

Anyone know what it is ?

Mike....It does sound as though it is coming from the compressor.

Is it usual for it to make a ticking noise ?.....

JC...can't say I've ever noticed mine doing it. Just seemed to be the only possible 'unit' in that area. What is it about you that inspires such humour!!! :D :D
