Title: Remote Control 3V or 6v?
Post by bernjmays on May 11th, 2007, 12:14pm
I bought a remote fob on e-bay recently. It has a 3v battery (2032) not 6v (2x2016). I could not get it to work. Seller assures me it worked with a 3v battery prior to sale, vehicle reg it worked on is N270KHU a black 2.9. Remote fob has part number g110 115d. Any thoughts?
Thanks in anticipation.

Are you sure this is a Scorpio fob??. I see it is supposed to have worked on a Scorpio but there are a number of 'look alike' fobs which do not and will not work with 'our' cars. As previously said two CR2016 units are required. My fob has 95GP-15K601-AB and TXRE * CEPT-LPD on the reverse.
