Decided to sort my abs sensors out today . Rears were fine but can,t get the front sensors out, in fact I broke one of them should they be this tight. Also how do you clean the bit inside the hub that the sensors work on. :o

very very rare to get a front sensor out in one piece.
Yes they are that tight :)

I use WD40 and a small wire brush

does that mean i'm not going to get any second hand without changing the hubs

I've only ever managed to get one front sensor out and I've tried a lot :)

Cheapest way is the replace the whole hub and sensor as you said.

I think new sensors are pretty expensive (well to me they are) :)

Hi,

A rear sensor from FMD cost me £70 last year, would imagine fronts to be about the same

FMD quoted me £75 +vat each. I don't think the pump is working either, should you be able to hear if it works
