I live in Australia.

I have a Jeep cherokee which has a VM 2.5L turbo diesel. I have heard that scorpions run this motor? Has anyone got one? I want to know of any mods that have been made to turbos etc..

Yep, same engine as mine :)
Not heard of much in the way of modding for them though

If yours doesn't have full electronic control of the injector pump then you can gain extra power in several ways:

Switch to a lighter grade of oil, e.g. 10W40
Increase boost pressure by shortening the wastegate actuator rod
Turn up the 'on boost' fuelling by rotating clockewise the toothed wheel under the diaphragm on top of the pump
Turn up the fuelling in general by rotating clockwise the adjustment screw on the back of the pump

Of the above, I found that turning the adjustment screw very slightly made a huge difference to power - and unfortunately, smoke and idle speed. The on-boost fuelling can make a difference to acceleration, but it didn't seem that great on mine. Obviously you should mark the original positions before moving them!

Great thanks for the tips guys.

Does anyone know of any websites of people modifying these motors? Also know of anywhere I can get parts from? Parts are expensive in Australia $700 for a clutch (I think 300 pounds??)

Try removing the guts from the catalytic converter. This will add a few bhp and make the engine rev keener, due to the diesel engine not requiring back pressure.
