Title: Clock light
Post by Rayfriel on Jun 21st, 2007, 1:32pm
This is really small but I have just bought a 97 Scorpio and am working my way through a list of things. Can the bulb in the clock be replaced without removing the dashboard.
Many thanks

Hi. No, but you don't actually have to remove the dashboard, just the walnut fascia panel, then you can get to the climate and clock displays and replace all the bulbs you like. But oh gaud, whatever you do, don't get Spannerdemon started on that blimmin' clock ;D

Details are here (http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/fasciabulbs.htm), it's easier IMO to remove the fascia and disconnect the plugs for the climate control rather than prising it out like it says on there.

Hope this helps.
