Title: Re: dipping reverse mirror. Post by v4-max aka Cheekyboy1 on Jul 7th, 2007, 10:38am thanks for the reply pete but no, i'm on about the mirror connected to the passenger door that moves when you put the car in reverse, and should return back to original position when in drive. |

Title: Re: dipping reverse mirror. Post by Simmo on Jul 7th, 2007, 1:15pm John, if you remove the small 'cover' in the centre of the trim piece behind the mirror mounting you will find a securing screw which may enable you to access the wiring and the connector. If not then you need to remove the door 'card' in order to access it. Make sure, if you replace it, that the cable passes behind the window track or the cable will prevent the window closing. THIS (http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/manual/body/trim/doormirror.pdf) may help. :). |

Title: Re: dipping reverse mirror. Post by petehull on Jul 7th, 2007, 3:32pm There are 2 cables comming from the mirror, one has a white plug and the other has a black plug it is the black plug that supplies the driving mechanism, the white one is for the heated mirror, so disconnect the black one.... hth Pete |
