Title: Re: Hi, what's this ? Post by Alastair on Jul 17th, 2007, 12:18pm Not clear where it is located. Looks like nthe disabling control to stop the rear windows being opened by rear seat passengers. (as in grandkids) Alastair |

Title: Re: Hi, what's this ? Post by jonnycab on Jul 17th, 2007, 12:31pm Yes, Alastair is right....located on the top left of the centre console, just in front of the armrest. It stops the lit'luns climbing out the rear windows when they can't open the doors because the child locks are on ;) |

Title: Re: Hi, what's this ? Post by TiberiuS on Jul 17th, 2007, 9:54pm As I remember from mine, it only disables the rear switches...with it pressed you shouldn't be able to open the rear windows from the rear window switches ::) Mine didn't light up, it would have been attacked with the soldering iron if I'd known ;D |

Title: Re: Hi, what's this ? Post by jg on Jul 17th, 2007, 9:58pm The rear door switches do not lift or down the rear windows at all, fronts do however. So switch on says to me that there could be a short ? |

Title: Re: Hi, what's this ? Post by TiberiuS on Jul 18th, 2007, 1:31am Hold up...it's late and I'm confused ;D With the switch pressed in (at least I think, it may be out ::)) the window switches on the rear doors should be disabled, press it again and they should be active. The switches in the front should always be active ;) |

Title: Re: Hi, what's this ? Post by merseyscorp on Jul 18th, 2007, 11:44pm Mine does't light up either. Careful when/if valeting your car though. I run the hoover nozzle over it and it gobbled it up. It's very messy disecting a dyson for the sake of a bit of plastic. |
