Not clear where it is located. Looks like nthe disabling control to stop the rear windows being opened by rear seat passengers. (as in grandkids)

Yes, Alastair is right....located on the top left of the centre console, just in front of the armrest. It stops the lit'luns climbing out the rear windows when they can't open the doors because the child locks are on ;)

Thanks Guys. Right mine does sweet sod all, apart from go, in and out when pressed. Fuse maybe ? it's the only thing on the car that does not work, boy am I p133ed. ::)

some one may have disconnected it it only has two wire going to it and is easily removed .

As I remember from mine, it only disables the rear switches...with it pressed you shouldn't be able to open the rear windows from the rear window switches ::)

Mine didn't light up, it would have been attacked with the soldering iron if I'd known ;D

The rear door switches do not lift or down the rear windows at all, fronts do however. So switch on says to me that there could be a short ?

Hold up...it's late and I'm confused ;D

With the switch pressed in (at least I think, it may be out ::)) the window switches on the rear doors should be disabled, press it again and they should be active. The switches in the front should always be active ;)

Great piece of design work went into that switch, my kids just lean forward and switch it off!! ;D

Mine does't light up either. Careful when/if valeting your car though. I run the hoover nozzle over it and it gobbled it up. It's very messy disecting a dyson for the sake of a bit of plastic.

No it doesn't light there is no bulb in it, and Stewart, you aren't supposed to tell the kids what it does.... ;D

On my 2.9 lights up, on the 2.3 i think it's burnt :)
