Alright All

Need some advice been given a set of vented discs for my motor for the rear yet the car has solid discs on can I just swap them or are they wrong also go some pads to go with it.

my 2.3 estate has vented rears

My 2.0 saloon has solid discs and I believe that is the standard for the whole Scorp range. You can probably use the vented discs though, as long as the physical dimensions are identical

the cossie have vented rear as standard,

my cossie, 2.3 and 12v all got vented rears???

Hi there, from memory:

2.9 have vented rear brakes
Estates regardles of the engine have vented rear brakes
2.0, 2.3 saloon have solid ones.

To fit vented discs in place of solid discs I think you will also need to change the rear calipers.

All estates should be vented, saloons apart from the 2.9 have solid rears, not sure for the TD though :-/

all cossie and estate are vented, the rest are solid, and im pretty sure they're not interchangeable.......

Nope, the vented discs are thicker than the solid ones, the rear 2.0/2.3 calipers will only work with solid discs.
