Title: Steering Judder
Post by bizzay1 on Aug 6th, 2007, 3:18pm
Since I have owned my Cossie, I have had a violent steering judder on high speed braking and during the last month or so at about 40 accelerating or braking there was a definate judder. From what I have been told and from what I have read on this site I suspected that it was the discs were warped, but yesterday I changed the rear wishbone bushes and that would appear to have cured my problem  :) While I was doing the job I tried to remove the abs sensors as the tc & abs lights come on at about 15 mph but they would appear to be stuck solid. I sprayed them with wd40 but will this make any difference ?? If not whats my next course of action ??

front abs sensors are hard to remove if you turn them they snap the wires inside then they are no good ,new ones about £88 from fmd,t/c light is the rear sensors

I too had this problem with the front sensors. I soaked mine with wd40 for a week- once every day and although they were tight i did manage to free them. john.n
