Hi. Can someone tell me how to go about changing the spark plugs on my 2000 ultima auto 1995. I've had a look under the cover and thought it best to ask for advice. Also what are the correct plugs and gap settings. ???

Changing the spark plugs are easy, but you need a torx bit. Remove the cover and remove the two coil packs (held in place by two torx screws each). Then remove the plugs as usual. The four spark plugs sit under the two coil packs.

Scorpio 2.0 8V

Motorcraft AGPR22PP 1.0mm
Bosch FR6DC 0.8mm
Champion RC8PYP 0.8mm
NGK BCPR6E-VG 0.7mm

Scorpio 2.0 16V

Motorcraft AGPR22PP 1.0mm
Bosch FR6DP1 0.8mm
Champion RC8PYP 0.8mm
NGK PFR6B 0.8mm

You'll need a long extension for your spark plug socket, the plugs are recessed a fair bit .
