Bit of info for the diesel jockeys out there ;)

Recently my Diesel hasnt been running right...

It was pulling fine up till about 2000 revs then it really started to struggle laying down the power...

I've traced it to the fuel sensor which can be seen on injector number one (front of engine) a single black wire going into the injector.

This sensor reports the start of injection to the PCM.. mine had failed and was replaced with a second hand unit which cured the problem

Will add a picture tomorrow once the sun comes up ;)

can you send me picture of what you changed as i have simlar problem with my 1997 car did yours cut out for no reason at all?

Will do, not got round to it yet, its the injector on the front of the engine, right side, theres a small dark wire coming out of it, had to replace the injector and sensor as its a complete unit

remember to use a 'window socket' so as not to damage the wire....
