Hi All

My car goes into the bodyshop a week on wednesday for repair, can anyone tell me, does the facelift bumper fit on using the same mounting brackets as the pre-facelift?

I've always found them interchangeable but i'm sure someone on here had different brackets or some such problem.

that would be me!

i tried to put a face lift bumper on a 95 car, found the front brackets were different to the 98 the bumper came off, they held the bumper to far forwards so that i couldnt get the bumper to fit round the wheel arch get what i mean?

I have ordered some brackets for the facelifted bumper £7+ each, will be here tomorrow.
Haveing read this again I wonder if I'll need them though.
At the moment I have a pre-facelift bumper off my old 95 car on my 99 reg car, fits fine with same brackets as the damaged bumper (also pre-facelift)... :-/ anyhow we'll see when the job gets done if it all fits together...

hi there i think the cossie 24v looks much happier with the face lift bumper :D :) ;) ;D
