Post by stafford on Oct 26th, 2007, 3:49am
Hi. I am looking for a quote from a competent member to transplant a decent cossie lump into my ultima and connect it to the lpg system I'm running already. car is a 2.3 ultima running a yr 2000 single point lpg system. the reason i wanna keep the car is 4 new tyres new exhaust full extra sound deadening on the doors floor and boot and very nice full ice install so dont wanna just buy a cossie if yu understand. So can it bedone and how much will some one charge me for their skill and time? thanks

Its not just an engine swap though.
To do it right you would need Engine, gearbox, prop, diff, driveshafts, brakes, front shocks and springs, EDIS module, ECU etc,
your 2.3 exhaust wont fit the 24v,
Will your tyres be suitable for the 24v?
its quite an undertaking  ;D

hi there

and i don;t think your lpg will be up to the task. the 24v usually has 2 regulators and is multi point.
