Hi peopel

I am new here .

I have bought an auto RVM for the Ultima from a scrap dealer for use in another car and need help regarding the wiring connections please.

There are three wires and I know that two are earth & ign positive but what is the third one for please?

I think it switches it off if you go into reverse but I am not sure
have a look HERE (http://www.carsoft.ru/avtorepair/sierra/mirror.pdf) it might give you an idea or two

that makes sense ref the reverse connection - presumably if I leave it disconnected ther ewill be no harm done.
