Title: What are the lights on the rearview mirror?
Post by DavidBE on Oct 30th, 2007, 9:12pm
This is probably a dumb question, but ...

On the auto-dimming rearview mirror, there are two little lights, which aren't mentioned in the handbook. The one on the right of the switch comes on green when I switch the auto-dim on, so that's clearly just an on/off indicator. But what's the left one for? Or is it an off indicator that's blown on mine?

I believe what looks like a light on the left is actualy a photo cell, in other words its the sensor that controls the dimming of the mirror.
