Title: aerials Post by Al_Sithi on Jan 5th, 2008, 4:15pm Someone recently asked about a replacement aerial, which reminded me of a question I've been meaning to ask for ages. My estate has TWO aerials, and I wonder if anyone can explain their respective functions? Ta John |

Title: Re: aerials Post by TiberiuS on Jan 5th, 2008, 5:06pm One on the rear window is there? That's normally for the manufacturer in-car phone kit if it was fitted, got one on the rear windscreen on the XJ. Bloody thing, if I remove it though I end up with a hole in the screen...think I'll leave well alone thankyou ::) Regards, Bruce. |

Title: Re: aerials Post by mijfife on Mar 8th, 2009, 10:19am Hi Snowy, My TD had this as well, the cable will most likely run the length of the headlining and down one of the pillars, behind the trim. It's most likely to be on the passenger side as that's where there's most room to fit something like a car kit for a mobile phone or a radio of some sort, are there any tell tale holes in your facia or centre consul? I'd whip off the trim panel below the glove box and see if the other end is hanging around there somewhere. Cheers Jim |
