Title: Re: electrical problems Post by TiberiuS on Jan 16th, 2008, 11:01pm Could be, but the light switches are known to overheat and the dead indiactors could just be a dead relay (just the one for both sides on the Scorp as I remember) Check for body damage and rust, check all the fluids especially the auto fluid. These are the things which I'd be thinking about on a car that age, not really the electrics. The fading display on the 7000 series radio is a common fault, mine used to die sometimes in the winter. But 200k is no big deal if it's been well looked after, a lot of that could be motorway miles anyway. Polished up, that could be a smart car for £300 :) |
