Title: Temperature gone RED UPDATED Post by strebor on Feb 1st, 2008, 6:37pm I just had a hose split the one that feeds the top of the water pump fortunatly I was able to shorten it enough to get me home but I notice the temp guage is stuck in the red even after refilling with cold water. any ideas anyone please 24v cosworth scorpio 1997 |

Title: Re: Temperature gone RED Post by Dave on Feb 1st, 2008, 8:21pm Check the single wire connection to the temperature sender near the top hose. If this is loose or damaged then the gauge can read hot all the time :) |

Title: Re: Temperature gone RED UPDATED Post by Snoopy on Feb 2nd, 2008, 7:48am Do a reset as per THIS (http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/instreset.htm) and after wards just switch off and then restart Dials should ALL spin round to max and then all should be ok. |
