hi all can any1 giv me some advice if i was to drive my scorpio without a breather hose will it damage or cause the car any probs cheers if it does can any1 tell me wr to get 1 cheers

Which breather hose are you talking about ? What engine do you have ?

scorpio dohc 16v 2.3 1997 p reg the pipe is missing from top left hand side of rock not sure wat it called though n need 1 lol

Do you mean the oil breather at the rear top of the engine that should have a pipe that goes to the back of the air filter box ?

If so, I don't think it will cause any problems with the hose missing as the head can still breath, may be a bit noisy (spluttery) though.

It's when the breather is blocked that problems can start....... & also, if the breather was removed, then you'd get oil spitting out & a lot more noise  :)

It wont hurt not to have the pipe but put a filter in it's place like I have.

cheers all i now got aa breather thnx again but i will invest in 1 of those filters as they look cool  ;D
