Title: Re: breather missing Post by jonnycab on Feb 17th, 2008, 11:51pm Do you mean the oil breather at the rear top of the engine that should have a pipe that goes to the back of the air filter box ? If so, I don't think it will cause any problems with the hose missing as the head can still breath, may be a bit noisy (spluttery) though. It's when the breather is blocked that problems can start....... & also, if the breather was removed, then you'd get oil spitting out & a lot more noise :) |

Title: Re: breather missing Post by RichardMS on Feb 18th, 2008, 8:35am It wont hurt not to have the pipe but put a filter in it's place like I have. This sort of thing. http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y15/andy905/AUTOPERFORMANCE/APIRO/WITH%20LOGOS/UNTITLED.jpg?t=1188554483 |
