Hi all, I had the battery disconnected while I changed the front seats over and welded a couple of patches on the floor. I have the code for the radio (RDS7000 model) but I don't have a users guide. Can someone please tell me how to put the code in? A quick heat with the hair dryer brings the display to life well enough to read it ( another great tip from this great forum) but I'm not sure what to do next! If anyone has a pdf or a scanned copy of the manual, I'd appreciate a copy if possible.

Once you have "Code" on the display press button 1 until the correct digit is displayed. Do the same with buttons 2,3 and 4. Then press button 5 and the unit should burst into life. :) The handbooks are HERE (http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/2007hbook.htm).

Thanks Simmo, that should let me get the music back in the car :) I must have looked in the wrong section as I couldn't find the handbook for the radio when i looked, thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

The method of entereing the code is here in the handbooks (http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/radio30005000.pdf)
The 5000/7000 series use the same method and the first part of the handbook is the same .
